Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to all paid digital products sold by MEENAKSHI SUBRAMANIAN GROUP trading as Easy Event Checklist through our website at easyeventchecklist.com — including but not limited to the Ultimate Event Checklist Kit and any future digital packs, templates, and guides.

Free products and lead-magnet downloads (such as the free Event Planning Basics PDF) are not subject to refund as no payment was made.

2. Our 30-day money-back guarantee

We're confident the kit will help you plan your event better. If it doesn't, we offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase. The guarantee covers:

• The kit doesn't fit your event type or culture — even though we cover many regions, your specific need may not be there
• Technical issueswith the files (couldn't open, formulas broken, etc.) that we can't resolve
• You changed your mind — no detailed reason required

We may decline refunds in the case of clear abuse — for example, if the same buyer has previously refunded the same product, or if we have evidence that the files were redistributed in violation of our license terms.

3. How to request a refund

1. Email hello@easyeventchecklist.com from the email address you used at purchase.
2. Include your order ID (in your LemonSqueezy receipt — looks like ORDER-XXXXXX).
3. Optionally tell us why — it helps us improve, but isn't required.

We aim to acknowledge refund requests within one business day and process them within three business days of acknowledgment.

4. How long the refund takes

Refunds are processed by LemonSqueezy (our Merchant of Record) back to the original payment method. Typical timing:

• Credit / debit cards: 5–10 business days to appear on your statement (issuer-dependent)
• PayPal: 1–3 business days
• UPI / Net Banking (India): 3–7 business days
• Apple Pay / Google Pay: 5–10 business days

You'll receive an email from LemonSqueezy confirming the refund. If the refund hasn't arrived after the timeframe above, contact your bank first, then us.

5. Cancellations

Our paid products are one-time purchases — there are no subscriptions or recurring charges. As such, there is nothing to "cancel" in the subscription sense. If you decide you'd like to discontinue use, simply delete the files from your device. To remove your data from our records (email lists, etc.), see our Privacy Policy.

6. Affiliate purchases

When you buy a recommended product from a third-party retailer (e.g., Amazon) via our affiliate links, that sale is between you and the retailer. Refunds for those purchases are governed by the retailer's own refund policy, not ours.

7. Tax and currency

Refunds are issued in the same currency you paid in. Any tax (VAT, GST, sales tax) collected by LemonSqueezy at purchase is refunded along with the principal — you receive the full amount back.

If your card issuer or bank applies foreign-exchange conversion on the original purchase, you may receive a slightly different amount in your home currency due to FX-rate fluctuation. This is outside our and LemonSqueezy's control.

8. Disputes and chargebacks

We prefer to resolve any concerns directly. Before initiating a chargeback with your bank, please contact us — we will almost always issue a refund faster than the chargeback process. Filing a chargeback before contacting us may result in your account being blocked from future purchases.

9. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect changes. Existing purchasers continue to be covered by the policy that was in effect at the time of their purchase.
